debug_getRawBlock

Note

Served only when debug is named in --http.api or --ws.api; see Enabling Namespaces.

Returns a whole block as RLP-encoded bytes.

Parameters

block parameter: QUANTITY|TAG|DATA [Required] - Hexadecimal block number, or one of the string tags latest, earliest, safe, or finalized; a 32-byte block hash is also accepted. See the default block parameter.

Returns

DATA - The RLP-encoded block: the header, the transactions, the (empty) ommers list and the (empty) withdrawals list. A block the node does not have fails with error -32001 and a message such as block not found: 0x5 or block not found: hash 0x….
